I'm currently waiting for Stargate Worlds to come out, wait, can I say that here?


I live in Australia, have training in broadcast television, and an interest in the environment and marine/water lifeforms.

As explaining in the other post, I'm taking time off for the most part.

I did learn how to use xFire to join Jedi multiplayer server matches though sometime back, but that requires one of my friends being online and playing on a server.

If I'm online during the day, I should try to play more often.

I'm surprised a game as old (well, it's not that old I suppose) as this is still supported by xFire.

My major problem with online gaming is that the times I choose to play are mostly when everyone else is asleep (due to the timezone difference of around 10 hours or so).

Yes I understand the time zone difference could be a bit frustrating but no worries. I am sure we will met sometime in game and exercise our abilities in saber combat.

-and yes feaR would know the time difference problem more than any other -[DE]- member. haha

also in terms of Xfire you can apply to our -[DE]- Xfire. You can communicate live with us there (of course only if we are online.)

I think I'm at my limit now.

I'm uncertain if it's correct, but I think there's only 5 clans allowed.
I had 3 before sending the application, so this one makes 4.

I'm saving the 5th one in case my Stargate Worlds Command ever makes an xFire clan.

I haven't seen anyone playing yet, but that may because of timezone, as I mentioned priorly.

I did pickup a copy of Jedi Knight Academy 2 via Steam, but didn't have any luck connecting to the server listed in xFire.

I tried it with someone else's server and it worked fine for them.

Does everyone do the Dark Side Raging Lightning attack?

Yeah, I think that's what it is.

I haven't ever played Dark Side (I prefer to win fights with swordpersonship), but I think there's something called Rage which increases damage output of force powers.

I think these players combine Rage with Lightning for an "I Win" button.
Everyone I've seen who has it rarely resorts to saber fighting.
If you hit them with it, they back off until they can lightning jolt you.

Oh, you mean the "force_rage" power? Yea, that's kinda useless. EZ to beat, lol.

Saber duelists > than force users.
