Clarify the connection between Uncle Ben and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Uncle Ben (aka Ben Kenobi) and Obi-Wan are one in the same...

There is no Uncle Ben, there is Uncle Owen. Luke Skywalkers step-uncle. Then there is Ben Kenobi, Obi-Wans other alias

i swear in the movie its uncle ben... but then again this is me... and star wars... lol

oh and ms bizh said shes gonna put the movie on to reaffirm

Although there is an uncle Ben, he is Spiderman's uncle who was killed by a Sith Adept many years ago.........

Time to bump this question....okay..

Uncle Ben is the term used by Luke Skywalker's REAL uncle, "Uncle Owen Lars." Owen Lars called Obi-wan that to try to make sure Luke never figured out that Obi-wan was a jedi. There are a few books in which Obi-wan calls himself "ben" but it's never explained why. I guess the next time someone tells me their nickname is "ben" I'll assume their real name is "obi-wan"

I think where she was going with this was is the old guy from the older trilogy whose name is Ben the same dude from the newer trilogy named Obi-Wan Kenobi? Scratch the whole "uncle part" cuz i think that is where everyone is focusing lol
